What do you do when you’re going along in life. All is well. You are blessed, your family is healthy, and your job/career is prospering. Then suddenly, the bottom drops out?

Maybe your spouse tells you they want a divorce, or you find out one of your children is very sick, or maybe your company is laying you off.

What do you do when the road you’re on takes an unexpected turn and you find yourself in a place you never thought you’d be in, facing a situation you’re not prepared – in the natural – to deal with?

Well, that is exactly what happened to David.

Isaiah 1:19 (TPT) [19] If you have a willing heart to let me help you, and if you will obey me, you will feast on the blessings of an abundant harvest.

We see other examples in Scripture of what look like interruptions really being divine opportunities from God.

The priest and the Levite were too busy to stop and help, but the Samaritan was obviously sensitive to God and saw the interruption as an opportunity to minister to the poor man’s need. Sometimes God doesn’t use the people we think He’s going to use.

o Overtake - ability, be able to, reach, catch up and surpass.
o Recover- to snatch away, defend, rescue, pick up, strip.

FIVE DECLARATIONS
1. The favor of God on my life restores everything the enemy has stolen from me.

2. I have found the thief, and he must restore to me seven times what he stole.

3. No weapon formed against me, my finances, my health, my family or my career will ever prosper. Every tongue that rises against me will be shown to be in the wrong. This is my heritage as a child of God and my righteousness comes from Him.

4. God is causing this situation to work out for my good right now. My faith and trust in Him is opening the door for a total and complete restoration of everything that has been lost.

5. I am more than a conqueror! I am not only recovering everything that has been stolen from me, but I am going to a new level beyond that in Jesus’ Name!

As you speak these declarations over your life, let their truth permeate your spirit. Resolve to only speak victory and recovery over your situation from this day forward. Then, listen for the direction of the Holy Spirit. He will lead and guide you to the place where you can reclaim everything that has ever been stolen. God is the God of Divine Recovery!
