Big Idea
Jesus declared, “I will build my church…” and for 21 centuries He has made good on that promise. No matter the location, the season, or the obstacles, Jesus has built His church and it is truly “Unstoppable.” Our series in Acts continues to explore the unstoppable nature of the church. Today, “Right Side Up Life.”

- Review the scriptures, the main points, watch or listen online to the message from this past weekend. What is the most significant point for you? Why?
- Would you describe your life today as upside down or right side up? If you consider it to be upside down, how did it get there? How have you tried to turn it over to right side up? If yes, how?
- Read 1Thessalonians 2:13. In your own words define what you think this verse means. How can this be applied to your seemingly “upside down life”?

In the message Pastor Gary defined the phrase “status quo.” It means “the existing state or condition” and then added a unique definition from John Maxwell “status quo = the mess we are in.” What is your status quo? And if you are willing to admit it’s a mess then the next step is to allow that mess to be challenged. And it’s God’s word that challenges it. Our world in so many ways is upside down. The prophet Isaiah said it this way almost 2800 years ago,“You are headed for trouble! You say wrong is right, darkness is light, and bitter is sweet.” (Isa.5:20 CEV) This is upside down! But God’s desire it that the world, the lives of our families, friends, and our lives are right side up. Pray today that God would use you to “flip the script” to a right side up life, personally and for those around us.
