1. Has there been a time in your past where you were closer to Jesus than today? How would you rate your spiritual passion today on a scale of 1-5? Why? What’s changed since you had that passion or what has changed to give you the passion you have today?

2. Barry said to combat apathy you need three things: perspective, gratitude, and bravery. Which one do you do the best? Describe what gives you that ability. Which one of the three do you need to improve in the most? What are one or two steps you can take this week to grow in spiritual passion?

3. Hebrews 6:12 says, “We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.” Who is someone you imitate that has spiritual passion? What are 3 questions you would ask them if you were sitting with that person? Have you considered asking that person to be your spiritual mentor and coach? If not that person who can you ask to be a spiritual leader in your life?
