Worship/Media/Tech Team Fall Family Picnic

On October 17, we will have our team fall picnic at Keehner Park in West Chester, Ohio following second service. Bring your family and a side dish to share. Meat and drinks are provided. We will spend some time in fellowship and “campfire style” worship. If you have any questions contact Mystique by emailing mystique@hittheriver.com.

Operation Christmas Child

We are thrilled to once again participate in Operation Christmas Child - a ministry of Samaritan's Purse. Each year, thousands of children receive Christmas gifts and the hope of Jesus through OCC and you get to help make this happen! Simply visit the display table in the cafe starting this Sunday, October 10, pick up as many shoeboxes as you would like, a gift guide, and get to stuffing! Riverbank Kids Program Opening for Second Service

We are looking forward to beginning a modified RiverBank Kids program during the second worship service on Sunday mornings. Starting October 17th, kindergarten-5th grade children are invited to join the RiverBank Kids team at 11:15 a.m. each Sunday for a Bible lesson, craft, games, and activities. As we begin reopening children's ministry during the second hour, please consider volunteering and joining the RiverBank Kids team. Angels Among Us

“When my wife was recovering from surgery, we received meals from Angels Among Us. It helped us so much as I could concentrate on helping her and the kids, and not try to learn how to cook.” If you would like to volunteer to sign up to make meals for families in our church. Cultivating Prayer

Please join us in this prayer. “Dear Lord, we thank You for the willingness of the volunteers working in the café. Give them strength to serve Your children with patience, mercy, and grace. Give them joy through glimpses of Your Kingdom in the faces of those whom they serve. Call more people to willingly serve in this ministry.” To serve in this ministry, write info@hittheriver.com.

Fall Festival

You are invited to The River Church's Fall Festival on October 30 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Join us for an afternoon of fun for all ages with Trunk or Treat, bounce houses, outdoor games, food, and more! Youth Fall Retreat

This year we are bringing back our fall retreat from November 12th-14th at the River Church. The theme for the weekend is Fearless and we will be covering stories from the book of Daniel. Our prayer is that students will leave the weekend challenged to be strongly confident in their Heavenly Father no matter what life may throw their way. River Youth Food Olympics in October

During each Sunday in the month of October, The River Youth will be doing a competition called the Food Olympics. Starting today October 3rd, we will be dividing students into teams that will be doing different food based games each week. We are so excited for this and we believe it is a great way to get students to invite their friends to Youth Group during October. We hope your student will be joining us! River Youth Overflow Groups

Girls- All 9th - 12th grade girls are invited to join us for a study on relationships and dating. We will be going through the book and workbook “Boundaries in Dating” by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend. This book will help teens establish boundaries and purpose in all of their relationships. Please purchase the both the book and workbook in advance of the first meeting. Our study meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the church. Please contact Brittany McGaffin to sign your teen up for the study at brittany.mcgaffin@gmail.com.

Blood Drive
