About Chadron Christian Church

hey
What to Expect: At Chadron Christian Church, we are all about becoming better friends with Jesus and sharing His heart with the world. We believe that you are loved, valued, and that God has a word for you today!
Values: a person’s principles or standards of behavior; one’s judgment of what is important in life.
Values are what we cling to while pursuing our vision
Biblical Authority: The Bible is God’s Word and it is our authority for life. If we will say “yes” to it, we WILL experience abundant life.
Say no to many things and say yes to one King
Living under Biblical authority frees you to focus on:
Being who God's created you to be
The Word over the world
God's faithfulness over the world's fakeness
1. What is your next step in living in the freedom of Biblical authority?
- Commit to Jesus
- Make prayer a habit
- Get baptized!
- Make reading God's Word a habit
- Give financially
- Serve where you're gifted
- Join/start a connection group
2. Focus on taking that step!
Testimony of reading God's Word, taking steps, and 35-day challenge:

"Habitual sin has been the thing always holding me back, and with this challenge, it forced me to get rid of it. And now I know I can live without it, and I'm BETTER without it! My prayers have never been answered so fast before!!

Now that the habitual sin is out of the way, I am FREE to finally be who I'm supposed to be...I'm READY to FOCUS on my goals that glorify God."

1. We all live under the authority of something or someone. What authorities have you been saying “yes” to and has it led you to losing focus on being who God created you to be?
2. Have you thought that saying “yes” to God’s Word would hold you back instead of giving you freedom? After hearing the message, is this still something you believe?
3. Saying “yes” to the authorities of culture, opinion, and various expectations causes us to hear the lies of the enemy and of culture over the truth of God’s Word. How might your life look different if you focused on listening to God’s voice over the world’s voice? Think about your relationships, career, dreams, and/or finances.
4. Saying “yes” to one King frees you up to focus on God’s faithfulness. Take a minute to reflect on the things God has brought you through. Share with each other some “Ebenezer” moments in your life and how they impact upcoming worries, concerns, or anxieties that may be present in your life.
5. As you commit to living a life under the life-giving authority of God’s Word, what are you most excited about to freely focus on: who God created you to be, His Word, and/or His faithfulness?
6. Out of the next steps talked about...which one do you need to take? If you’ve taken these steps, how might you be able to grow in each? Next steps could also include something like mending a relationship, stepping out in God’s calling for your life, or cutting a habit.
7. What’s been the biggest thing God has taught you during this 35-day challenge?
