Kingdom - basilĕia - Royalty, rule or realm; area ruled by a king

- Root - basis - To walk; the foot; the bottom of something or foundational, principal component of something

Kingdom of Heaven - The foundational, principal component of heaven; the system or culture of heaven

- Culture - Webster - The set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices of a society, institution or organization.

Kingdom Culture - Set of attitudes, values, goals and practices of the kingdom of heaven

Sowed - spĕirō - To scatter or sow seed for future growth

Lose heart - ĕkluō - To relax; lose motivation to accomplish a goal; become discouraged or give up


Sowing and reaping a harvest requires:

1) Intentionality - Does not happen by accident
2) Perseverance - We cannot lose heart

Tares - zizaniŏn - False grain; a weed nearly indistinguishable from wheat until the ear appears

Among - mĕsŏs - The middle; in an area determined by or dominated by other things

Sober - nēphō - Not drunk; in control of one’s thought processes

Vigilant - gregoreo - To be aware, alert, continually ready

Adversary - antidikŏs - Accuser, Opponent in a lawsuit

Resist - anthistēmi - To stand against; oppose, withstand, be hostile towards

Steadfast - stĕrĕŏs - Stiff, solid, stable, strong; firm in one’s attitudes or beliefs
