Many pulpits in our world are silent on the topics of Sin, of Judgment, of the Glories of Heaven and of the Horrors of Hell, even though these truths are recorded in the same Bible as are the Love of God, the Mercy of God, and the Grace of God.
Heaven is not like anything we know, nor can imagine.
Let yourself think for a moment about what it would be like to realize that ahead of you are never ending days of joy, never ending days of blessing, never ending days of perfect unbroken hope as well as the joy of never ending days to be perfectly who the LORD created you to be and do all He created you to do for His everlasting Glory.
You have never lived a single day or moment of your life without the weight of sin upon you. Upon your heart, your mind, your eyes, your motives. The you who is you has never lived without this weight but when you are finally in heaven...that “ever—present” weight of fallenness will be no more. Ever. For the first time in your life. What a glorious, incomprehensible thought.
Many people want it to be true that everybody goes to heaven and so they hold the mistaken belief that if you’re a good man or a good woman as we define good, then you go to heaven.

Actually, even if you’re not a particularly good man or a good woman you still go to heaven when you die.

Only the worst of the worst don’t go to heaven.

This is a damning lie from the father of lies, the deceiver.

Jesus said no, this is not true. Everybody doesn’t go to heaven. Don’t believe the lie.

Jesus said that the only way you will ever get to heaven is through faith in Him. You and I must take Jesus at His words.
Think about actually being in the presence of the God who formed you in the womb, who knew you before you knew Him, who wrote your name in the Lamb’s book of life before the foundation of the world, who adopted you as a son or daughter, who gave you every good gift in your life, and who by His own intent came and accomplished the saving of you through Jesus’ finished work. In heaven, He will dwell among us.
“As resurrected people, we’ll live on the New Earth, not a non-earthly angelic realm for disembodied spirits. We’ll live in our resurrected bodies on a resurrected earth, where the resurrected Jesus will rule on the throne of the New Earth’s capital city, a resurrected Jerusalem. And we will reign with Him as righteous people ruling the earth to God’s glory. That was exactly His design from the beginning. The Bible begins and ends with God and humanity in perfect fellowship on earth.”

Heaven
Jesus tells us to fear God who has authority to cast you into hell
Jesus tells us to do whatever it takes, anything it takes, everything it takes to avoid hell.
The perfect, infinite Justice of God, and the Wrath of God are truths just as certain in the Bible as are the Mercy of God and the Forgiveness of God.
A flood of false doctrine has lately broken in upon us. Men are beginning to tell us “that God is too merciful to punish souls for ever…that all mankind, however wicked and ungodly…will sooner or later be saved.” We are to embrace what is called “kinder theology,” and treat hell as a pagan fable… This question lies at the very foundation of the whole Gospel. The moral attributes of God, His justice, His holiness, His purity, are all involved in it. The Scripture has spoken plainly and fully on the subject of hell… If words mean anything, there is such a place as hell. If texts are to be interpreted fairly, there are those who will be cast into it… The same Bible which teaches that God in mercy and compassion sent Christ to die for sinners, does also teach that God hates sin, and must from His very nature punish all who cleave to sin or refuse the salvation He has provided.

Hebrews says: Hell is a Terrifying Fire, the Vengeance of God
If the God you believe in is a God without Judgment, without Wrath, then you are worshipping a false, idolatrous God of your own making. You must turn away from your idol.
No one in Hell has joy. No one in Hell has love. No one in Hell has hope. Ever again.
Hell is the Default Road you are Born on - You are by your birth nature a Child of Wrath. You, No Man, No woman is neutral.
This road to Hell is paved for you by the world, the flesh, and the devil.
This road to Heaven is paved for you by the body and blood of Jesus alone, through faith.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 NASB1995

Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
