Think about this: where is your wallet/purse right now?

So much of our lives revolves around our wallet or purse - it often contains currency, our identifications, and many other every-day items. When we lose it, we often panic and feel anxiety and stress. While we know our wallet is not where we find our value, if everything in it was taken, we would feel vulnerable to our value being stripped from us. That's why it's important to note that we are the "living letters written by Christ." Our identity and value has to be found in who we are in Him. When our value is set by the constant of Christ, it can never be stripped or taken from us.

In the same way that we keep many of our valued documents in our wallets and purses, we are the valued documents and tools of God and He is the wallet that keeps us secured in Him. Our value isn't determined by anything that could be added or taken away from us. It's based on the value He set for us when He created us.

Our hearts are the designed "documents" in the wallet of God and we are always found in Him. We were. selected as His priests and Kings to amplify and broadcast His love and goodness through to the world. We are called to preach Christ's reconciliation for us and to make Him known. When an ID is printed, it is affirmed by the agency that created it and from there, it will never be recognized as a different ID. It is forever imprinted and recognized as an official indicator of the holder and only that holder. In the same way, we are ambassadors of a Kingdom and our identity to that Kingdom can't be changed. While sometimes we don't display the Kingdom that we stand for as well as others, that Kingdom is still our "issuing agent" and what determines our value and validity. No other agency can change that.

We are the living letters of Christ – recommending the one who sent us. Let's continue to run our race and share His goodness, grace and light with the world. Choose to be intentional with the way you live each day and make your moments of interaction with others matter for the Kingdom.
