Redefining Moments — 21-26 June 2021

It is in “Redefining Moments” each day that our faith is strengthened through time in prayer and reading the Bible.  This weekly guide is designed to help you in your journey.

Locations & Times

Tervuren, Belgium

Broekstraat 1, 3080 Tervuren, Belgium

Monday 6:15 AM

MONDAY: Suffering
Reading: Colossians 1:24-27
Prayer: Lord, I desire to walk closely with You each day and I rejoice in both the good and bad—recognizing that You endured suffering for me. Give me the courage to face difficult circumstances with faith. I love You, Jesus!
TUESDAY: Suffering
Reading: 1 Peter 3:17-18
Prayer: Dear Jesus, You suffered so that I could have my relationship restored to You. Help me to always keep my momentary pains in perspective and give me grace to embrace those moments as a way to grow more mature in You. Let me strive to walk continually on the right path, no matter what comes my way.
WEDNESDAY: Suffering
Reading: Romans 8:18-25
Prayer: Dear Jesus, my hope is in YOU! While days can sometimes be difficult, I know that in the end, things will be made right! Even the Earth groans, so give me patience and resilience in the face of difficulty. Help me to feed hope and starve despair today. Thank You that though suffering may be a part of the journey—I am never alone. I love You, Lord!
THURSDAY: Suffering
Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:26
Prayer: Lord, You have given me community—the Church—for a reason. Help me to rejoice well—and help me to suffer well. May I become a better encourager and one who can empathize with those around me who might be walking through an even darker season of suffering. Help me to love like You love.
FRIDAY: Suffering
Reading: 2 Timothy 2:1-10
Prayer: Dear Jesus, it is sometimes easy for me to think that I'm the only one who is facing difficulties. Help me to "be strong in the grace that is in Christ." Forgive me for when I've just wavered or wanted to give up. Help me to be courageous and strong no matter what. Thank You for Your Word and the example of Paul that I can follow.
SATURDAY: Suffering
Reading: 2 Timothy 2:11-13
Prayer: Lord, I am reminded that suffering helps me grow in my dependence upon You and it helps me connect even more deeply with the reality of what You suffered on my behalf. Give me courage and strength today to be faithful. Thank You for Your never ending, never-wavering faithfulness to me and Your Church.
