FASTING: Denying the Physical to Gain the Spiritual

What is the Purpose of Fasting?
-"To strip us away from our Earthly perspective, bringing us to a holy perspective so that we can: Bring our voice to God. And Hear the voice of God.
-There is a direct correlation to the presence of Jesus and Fasting. When the bridegroom is here, we don't need to fast. When He is gone, we should fast.

How to Fast:
-Get your heart right, and have a spiritual goal.
-Pick the type of fast: Partial, Intermittent, or Complete.
-Pick your duration: 1 day, 3 day, 5 day, 7 day...
-Fasting should always be coupled with Prayer. Use your meal time for prayer time.
