The New Covenant is the promise that God makes with humanity that He will forgive sin and restore fellowship with those whose hearts are turned toward Him.

A blood sacrifice: In the Bible, blood does not symbolize death, it symbolizes life.

A Covenant path

Blessings and curses: (Salvation). Salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering. To save is to deliver or protect. Salvation refers to victory, health, or preservation. Sometimes, the Bible uses the words saved or salvation to refer to temporal or physical deliverance.

The mingling of blood
In a covenant, the mingling of blood with another symbolizes acquiring that person’s life. We hear this symbolism in weddings a lot. These two covenant partners become one “flesh and blood.”

The exchange of names. When you became a Christ-follower, Jesus gave you His name to use.
