The Promise of Jesus = I Am the Bread of Life
I. We Have Needs!
The crowd demonstrates this truth.
What they got right: pursue Jesus.
What they got wrong: believing Jesus is only good for temporary fulfillment, rather than eternal satisfaction.
II. Jesus' Response - I Am the Bread of Life
How does this promise address our needs:
1. Jesus makes this claim because He sees your greatest need with more clarity than you do.
2. When you are eternally satisfied in Christ, then your filter for temporary satisfaction is changed.
3. Jesus has the power to make such a promise for your life. Jesus is God's work for deliverance.
