God uses key things to grow us and make us aware of his working in our lives. Some are natural and obvious, while others come in unexpected places and times.

God often takes the simplest and most common things that we have available and uses them for his purposes.
1. Do you have a takeaway from this Easter season that is new or even a reminder that you needed to hear during this difficult year?
Read Exodus 4:19 (It would be helpful to read Exodus 3:1-22 also for full context)
2. Take a moment to look at the latter part of chapter 3 (verses 16-22). God gives a rather detailed outline leading up to the Exodus. How would this help to reassure Moses, despite his continued protests? .
3. What is the back story of Moses prior to the burning bush experience and why is it helpful to know it?
4. What underlying fears (or "what if" scenarios) are being played out by Moses? Are they legitimate? .
5. In verses 2-9, God begins to target the protests that Moses has presented. Answer the following:
a. There is a three-fold progression in these verses (the staff, the hand, and the Nile). Take time to state the significance of each and whether the order is intentional.
