The proclamation of the Reality of the Resurrection on Easter is the most pivotal point in all of human history.

The entire basis of the Christian faith has its very foundation formed upon a single historical event! It’s way more than a philosophy or code of conduct tied to a religious belief system.

So what does his resurrection mean?
Jesus is who he claimed to be
Jesus has the power he claimed to have
Jesus did what he promised to do.

the Easter tension...

The resurrection changed everything for these followers. A few years later it would change everything for Paul (who was Saul at the time) and out persecuting this Christian movement - until he encountered the resurrected Christ!

His offenses slid by the way-side as the truth overwhelmed him and completely changed him.

So much so, that he went from radically hunting down Christians - to the greatest church planter and promoter of the message of Christianity & teacher of the reality of the resurrection of Jesus in the early first century!

We were dead in our sins, but God … We were rebels against him, but God … We were enslaved by Satan and our sinful natures, but God … These may be the two most welcome words in all of Scripture: “but God.”

His Grace meets us just when we needed it!

Jesus meets us each at our lowest point, and unleashes grace — giving us an invitation, not condemnation…

The Good News of Jesus is not a series of bullet points. It is not some sort of wisdom proverb. The gospel is not a set of principles.

The gospel of Jesus is a story. It's the story about the life of one man, the God-man, the Savior and Lord of all the earth.

And when that story intersects your life - what are you going to do with it?

The Resurrection was not preached in the early church as a symbolic representation of a wonderful higher spiritual truth like, "We must always keep hope."

The Resurrection was preached and proclaimed as a hard reality, a paradigm-shattering - maybe inconvenient, but impossible to dismiss FACT!

It calls each of us to make a decision.

EASTER declares over you, that you are loved!
Why not ask Him to continue to show you that you are…

Say YES to Him!

Romans 10:9
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For God so loved the world (you) that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever would believe in him, wouldn’t not perish, but find eternal life.
