The Hope We Need
• The day that Jesus died, hope died.
Job 19:10: “my hope...has been uprooted like a tree.”
• Easter is about hope, but before it was filled with hope, it was filled with hopelessness.
• On Sunday morning, there were no Christians, because there was no Christ.
Three things that Jesus told us and three invitations to respond:
1. Jesus told us He loved each and every one of us.
2. Jesus told us He has opened the door and invited us in!
3. Jesus told us that we have hope!
