DISCUSSION GUIDE
Use these questions to reflect on this week's message as a family or group.
1. Jesus made several “I Am” statements. Read John 11:21-27. When he raised Lazarus from the dead, what “I Am” statement did Jesus make?
2. Read Acts 24:21. Why was Paul arrested? Why was that so offensive to the religious leaders?
3. Pastor Brian shared that without the resurrection, we have nothing to say. Read 1 Corinthians 15:14-15. What does this mean for us today?
4. Read 1 Corinthians 15:16-17. If Jesus has not been raised from the dead, it would be a big deal for our “religious beliefs.” What are the serious consequences for us as individuals if there was no resurrection?
5. Read 1 Corinthians 15:18-19. What does it say about those who have “fallen asleep in Christ”? What is the implication for us?
6. Read 1 Corinthians 15:20. This changes everything! What do these words mean to you? Who do you know that needs to hear the message of Easter this coming week?
