God's Sovereignty Allows Suffering.
“The Son of Man must suffer many terrible things and be rejected by the elders, the leading priests, and the teachers of religious law. He would be killed, but three days later he would rise from the dead.”
God’s Sovereignty included Suffering for Jesus.
So, God’s Sovereignty includes Suffering for You.
God's Sovereign plan righted Jesus' horrific suffering by bringing us Salvation through his Resurrection!
Our Present Suffering
or
God’s Sovereignty over Suffering...
If God found it sufficient in his Sovereign plan to allow our Savior to suffer then we shouldn’t be surprised when we suffer.
“If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.”
When you’re ready to quit in the midst of suffering, try to remember…Without a trial, there’s no testimony.
Without a death, there’s no resurrection.
Without pain, there’s no progress.
Without hurt, there’s no healing.
Without a struggle, there’s no story worth telling.
Without a Suffering King, there’s no purpose in your suffering.
