Pilate Violates His Conscience
Luke 23:13-25

As the passion of our Lord continues, Herod sends Jesus back to Pilate for judgment. Pilate’s ultimate decision was obviously a violation of his conscience. This Sunday we will examine the function of the conscience.

Spring – Session 1
Neighbors?

Believers demonstrate their love for God by extending grace to others.
LUKE 10:25-37

One of the most difficult demands of Jesus is to love our enemies. Now consider Jesus’ command to love our neighbors; that seems more plausible, right? This is especially true if our concept of love is nothing more than social politeness. Yet, Jesus’ command to love our neighbor goes beyond the social norms. The type of love Jesus requires involves sacrifice and willingness to treat others with the same amount of attention we would typically reserve for ourselves. This is the Christian mandate of love. Believers demonstrate their love for God by extending grace to others.

Whom do you regard as your neighbor? What motivates you to love them regardless of their attitudes toward you?

Our emotional responses are vitally important to our relationship with God and with others. They are a great opportunity for us to grow in Christlikeness and love. Emotions have the power to enrich relationships or drive wedges into them. Emotions are an essential way in which we bear God’s image.
Month of Encouragement

Reach out to our brothers and sisters in Christ.

During the Week of Encouragement, we hope to equip you to reach out and encourage other members of First Baptist Church Keller who would benefit from a simple contact or touch from a brother or sister in Christ. Encouragement can be in the form of a phone call, a visit, a card sent, or a special treat. Names of those who would benefit from your encouragement will be provided on contact cards available on Sunday, March 14 in the main hallway outside of the Worship Center. Please take one or more contacts and decide how you would like to bless someone during that week.

Rotating Worship Schedule for Adult Bible Study Classes

We are asking each of our Adult Bible Study Classes to rotate to one of our designated remote worship areas (either the Gym or the LOFT) once per month during Worship Service times. This only affects the Worship Service times (8:30 and 11:00 a.m.) and does not affect your Sunday school class time or location. This rotation schedule allows for adequate social distancing during Worship Service times. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
