The Family Table: The initiative to engage kids and teens where they are, encourage kids and teens to live in faith with Jesus, and empower the generations to disciple kids and teens.
2 types of people:
Bringers and Barriers
Bringer bless and Barriers block
Discussion: What in our words, habits, and character is aiding in bringing kids to Christ? Or preventing?
What would it look like for PCC to be fanatical about bringing kids to Jesus? What would our community be like if we decided not to be afraid of kids and teens?
"When Jesus saw this, he was indignant."
indignant = to be angry over an injustice, righteously angry
"He said to them, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.' "
--Children have a place in the Kingdom
--Jesus blessed them one by one by one...
--The disciples missed the value of children
Bottom Line: Children were created for God
What in our words, habits and character, inaction is aiding in bringing kids to Christ OR being a barrier for kids to come to Christ?

PCC BENEDICTION
May you jump into the arms of Jesus and may He push out into the world. May you be healed as you participate in the healing of others. Not because you must, but because you may. This is why we were born!

BEYOND SUNDAY
Families need to know their words, their love, and their people all impact not just the adults but the kids as well. And those kids become adults. The aim of this series, Family Table - Realizing Your Impact, is to empower and resource families to be intentional with their words, their love and the people they do life with.
1. Different cultures have placed varying levels of importance and recognition on members within the household (i.e., the elderly, children, women, men). What did you learn about the importance of various members in your household as you were growing up? Have you taken on those same beliefs? Have your views changed over time?
2. We learned some staggering information about our youth from this week's speaker, Pastor Gary Gaddini. Anxiety and depression in high school kids have been on the rise for a decade, cutting across all demographics. About 30% of girls and 20% of boys have an anxiety disorder. Discuss the seriousness of these facts and how you have seen these issues impact teens, or other age groups, today. How does this situation make you feel?
3. Whether we have children or not, we were asked some very important questions by Pastor Gary in his sermon. Who is going to stand by these kids? Who will equip our children with the spiritual resources and biblical hope necessary to thrive? How much of a priority are our PCC kids to you? What percentage of your time are you willing to give towards discipling kids and teens through PCC ministries? Which of these questions strikes you the most? And why?
4. The Book of Mark gives us insight into how Jesus treated children and viewed their importance. Read Mark 10:13-16. What were the parents doing in these verses? What did the disciples do? How did Jesus respond?
5. According to Pastor Gary there are two types of people when it comes to kids and Christ. There are Bringers and Barriers. Bringers bless. Barriers block. Last week we learned from Pastor Brian that we are to be mirrors to the world. How is your behavior a mirror for the world with respect to our children? What in our words, habits, character, or actions are aiding in bringing kids to Christ? What in our words, habits, character, or inactions are barriers for kids coming to Christ?
6. As we re-gather on March 28, what would it look like for PCC to be fanatical about bringing kids to Jesus? What effect would it have on our community? What is preventing you from being a bringer? What would you like to see different in our children’s programs as we re-launch? What role are you willing to play to make that happen? See Ephesians 3:20. Do you believe this is true for the children of PCC?
