Conversation Starter
What could someone do to convince you that they loved you?

Begin your study with prayer
Pause for a few minutes to quiet your heart and mind. Ask God to help you experience His love and hear His voice as you reflect on this week’s lesson.

1. Which verse is most significant to you? Why?

2. What are the five expressions of relationship that God initiated with you found in verses 29-30?

3. What has God done, and is He doing now, to demonstrate He is for you (verses 31-34)?

4. What do you want to say in response to all God has done for you?

5. Which items in verses 35-39 (or something else) might cause you to question whether God's love for you has decreased?

6. How did you start believing, or what would help you believe, God really loves you?

7. What do you need victory over (verse 37)? How can trusting God's love for you give victory in that situation?

8. What do you believe God wants you to know from this passage?

9. Read verse 34. Spend a moment in silence, asking Jesus what He's praying for you. Write down or share thoughts that come to mind.
