BLESSED ASSURANCE, JESUS IS MINE

[Verse 1]
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

[Chorus]
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long.

[Verse 2]
Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels descending bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

[Verse 3]
Perfect submission, all is at rest,
I in my Savior am happy and blest;
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

ALL I HAVE IS CHRIST

[Chorus 1]
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life.

[Verse 1]
I once was lost in darkest night, Yet thought I knew the way;
The sin that promised joy and life Had led me to the grave.
I had no hope that You would own a rebel to Your will,
And if You had not loved me first, I would refuse You still.

[Verse 2]
But as I ran my hellbound race indiff’rent to the cost,
You looked upon my helpless state and led me to the cross;
And I beheld God’s love displayed, You suffered in my place,
You bore the wrath reserved for me, Now all I know is grace.

[Chorus 2]
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Halleljuah! Jesus is my life.
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Halleljuah! Jesus is my life.

[Verse 3]
Now, Lord I would be Yours alone and live so all might see;
The strength to follow Your commands could never come from me.
O Father, use my ransomed life in any way You choose.
And let my song forever be, “My only boast is You!”

[Chorus 3]
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Halleljuah! Jesus is my life.
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Halleljuah! Jesus is my life.

[Outro]
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Halleljuah! Jesus is my life.

ALWAYS

[Verse 1]
My foes are many, They rise against me,
But I will hold my ground.
I will not fear the war, I will not fear the storm.
My help is on the way, My help is on the way.

[Chorus]
Oh my God, He will not delay,
My refuge and strength, always.
I will not fear, His promise is true,
My God will come through always, always!

[Bridge]
I lift my eyes up, My help comes from the Lord.

[Tag]
Oh, my God, He will not delay,
My refuge and strength always, always.

[Verse 2]
Trouble surrounds me, Chaos abounding,
My soul will rest in You.
I will not fear the war, I will not fear the storm.
My help is on the way, my help is on the way.

ACCUSING GOD'S MESSENGER WITHOUT PROOF
I. Paul's False Indictment
hey
How do we respond when we are wrongly accused or badly treated?
- Remember that God is in control!
- Remember that we are to love our enemies.
- Do not become bitter or give up hope.
- Use this time as an opportunity for prayer and trust in God.
- We must keep an open mind and search for the elements of truth that are nestled within the false accusation.
- We must respond as Jesus did (1 Peter 2:21-23).

TRUST AND OBEY

[Verse 1]
When we walk with the Lord In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
Let us do His good will; He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

[Chorus]
Trust and obey, For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, But to trust and obey.

[Verse 2]
Not a burden we bear, Not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, Not a frown or a cross
But is blest if we trust and obey.

[Verse 3]
But we never can prove The delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows And the joy He bestows
Are for them who will trust and obey.

[Verse 4]
Then in fellowship sweet We will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, Where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.
