This is the Good News about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God.

The GOOD NEWS is not a what.
It is a WHO, and more importantly a WHY.
It is a WHO, and more importantly a WHY.
The GOOD NEWS is that God came to us when we couldn’t get to Him.
We know the story and the facts and we can fill in the blank, but that is the problem. We only think we know Him...
In the original language, “to know” means to understand one intimately as a husband knows his wife.
Mark was writing about an invasion and an assault on evil to free you...
1st Significant Moment: His Baptism
The first type of baptism mentioned in the New Testament is found in Mark 1:4-8.
Biblical repentance is a full 180 degree turn and change … and when they did their sins were forgiven.
The second type of baptism mentioned in the New Testament is Christian Baptism.
We don’t get baptized TO BE forgiven, but we get baptized because we ARE FORGIVEN!
2nd Significant Moment: Empowered by the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit GUIDES us and EMPOWERS us to do what God wants us to do, not what we want to do, but what God wants us to do.
3rd Significant Moment: Tested by Satan
