Groups Event

In his letter to the Galatians, Paul encourages believers to “share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2). Life can be hard sometimes, and we aren’t meant to go it alone - we’re meant to do it as part of a group. If you're interested in joining or starting a Group, stop by the lobby after the 11 am service on February 21st - we’ll have some group leaders out in the lobby who would love to talk to you about finding your fit. You can also check out efree.org/groups!

Red Cross Blood Drive

Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime. One donation can potentially save up to 3 lives!   First Free is continuing to support the American Red Cross by hosting blood drives throughout 2021 where healthy individuals are invited to give blood. Our next drive is Thursday, March 4th, from 12-6 pm in the Activity Center.   Please make an appointment to give at redcrossblood.org.

Bridge of Hope Tutoring

Right now, the two elementary schools nearest Bridge of Hope in north St. Louis city have only a 4-6% reading proficiency rate, but you can help improve that number. If you’ve been looking for a tangible way to impact the lives of others during the pandemic, we’ve got a great one for you! Bridge of Hope has created an online tutoring program to help these children learn to read. It only takes 40 minutes, twice a week, and the impact can last a lifetime.

Bridge of Hope provides the curriculum and training you need to be successful.

To learn more about how you can get involved and help change a life, email robin@bridgeofhopestl.org.

Groups at First Free

Groups at First Free are a place to belong. Groups provide an environment for discipleship and study. They give opportunities for hospitality. They help us to grow and learn about God, the Bible, ourselves, and each other. Groups do not supplant the church, but they provide a setting where believers can more fully realize what it means to be the church. To learn more and find your fit, click the link below!
