Sermon Notes, February 7, 2021
The arrest of Jesus may be the greatest travesty of justice in the history of the world. Jesus of Nazareth – the only truly innocent human being to ever live – was arrested like a criminal under the cover of darkness. And if that wasn’t bad enough, Jesus was also betrayed. Not only was Jesus arrested by His enemies. He was also betrayed by His friends. In this sermon, we focus on three ways the closest companions of Jesus betrayed Him in the Garden of Gethsemane.
