- People of the prince destroy the city - Jerusalem conquered and temple destroyed - 70 AD - Roman Legion X destroyed the temple - Syrians, Arabs and Turks

- Time clock stops - Jews no longer in Israel, do not control Jerusalem, temple is destroyed

- Missing 1 week (7 yrs) - Confirm a covenant with many, temple be rebuilt, 3 1/2 years into agreement breaks it — the abomination of desolation (Matt 24:15)

7 years - 2,555 days - 255 days after covenant (treaty) sacrifices will begin

- Daniel 8 &11 - Antichrist will come from one of the four horns - The Seleucid Empire “King of the North”
