I. Peter's Intention
Peter's intention is that you conduct yourselves in a manner that makes the pagan world tilt their heads with confusion, due to good works.
II. Peter's Instruction
Those good works = submitting to human authority.
III. Applications
1. Do not undervalue the odd witness of submission.
2. To submit to human authority is to trust God.
3. The call to submit guides our manner of submission.
4. Civil disobedience may be warranted, but it is certainly not the norm.
5. Find yourself living a Christ-like lifestyle.
