"Running this race with Certainty"

Key Points:

* Temperate = moderate or self-restrained; not extreme in opinion, statement, etc.
* Conform = to act in accord with the prevailing standards, attitudes, practices, etc., of society or a group
* Transformed = to change in condition, nature, or character; convert
* The understanding that God wants us to have is that of truth and reality. The truth is that our ways are not like the Lord's ways no matter how closely they resemble his.
* All our righteousness is as filthy rages before God. Why, because they are inspired by us and not by God.
* Paul encouraged us to run this race not as one that beats the air but to run with certainty. There is only one way to do this. We do this by transforming our mind into the mind of God. To be transformed mean to be converted or changed. The natural man can not obtain the things of God. We must be renewed in our mind to receive all that God has for us.
* Once our minds have been renewed, then we can understand what is that good, acceptable, and pleasing will of God.
