We need sure footing in this life; that where we step it holds us. Christ is our secure footing.
We see God’s personal and corporate protection in verse 4.

In verse 3 and 4 the pronoun of He is used. In verse 5 the psalmist makes it very clear that our “He” is the LORD- Yahweh.
