Sermon notes for weekend worship service January 7 & 10, 2021
Historians are unanimous in their choice:
The title of the worst year in history is easily held by the year 536 AD.
Truth is, God never intended for you to survive this world living in isolation. God has prepared a place for you to BELONG -- the local church!
The global pandemic does not mark the end of the world -- BUT the end of an era.
Three Categories of Churches in Our Post-Pandemic World:
1. Churches who seek a return to their pre-pandemic model with no changes.
2. Churches who innovate on their existing church model by sustaining digital ministry.
3. Church who pioneer the future and change their fundamental ministry model in light of what they’ve learned this season.

4. The Gospel -- Message of Salvation (never changes)
“It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said” 1 Corinthians 15: 2-4

7. God is in Control

1st Adjustment: DECONSTRUCTION
At its base level, deconstruction is a way of understanding how something was created -- it is an authentic return to God’s original intent!
