To Live Life Victoriously:

I. You must think Victoriously (Proverbs 23:7a)

[Quote]
Dr. Caroline Leaf says this in her book Switch On Your Brain,

“As we think, we change the physical nature of our brain. As we consciously direct our thinking, we can wire out toxic patterns of thinking and replace them with healthy thoughts.”

Victorious living starts with:

1. Disconnecting from thoughts and behaviors that are un-fruitful

"do not be conformed to this world"

2. Reshaping/Renewing Your Mind
"let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think"

How do we do that?

1. Read the Word
2. Hear the Word
3. Practice Living Out The Word

3. Tear down Mental Strong Holds

II. You must get your eyes off of Circumstance (Philippians 4:6-7, Matthew 14:25-33)

What do we learn from Peter’s experience?

1. I Can Do Anything with Jesus
Peter could walk on water as long as he look to Jesus.

One of the problems we have when storms hit, life happens is we tend to look more intently at our circumstance rather than making the one who can save us Jesus our focus.

2. Our focus effects our outcome.

When Peter focused on the Lord, there was nothing he could not do, but the moment his focus changed he began to sink.

You want to live victoriously; you need to learn to:

1. Stop Worrying and Start Praying

2. Give everything to God you cannot carry.
Unload!!!!!

3. Thank God for what He has done for you
Learn to Remember the Victories God has brought to your life and then

III. You must never accept Defeat (Ephesians 6:10-18)

3. Guard your mind (vs 17)
