How to Put on the Lord’s Strength:
1. Recognize the true arena of your conflict
Ephesians 6:11-12
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Until you focus on the right arena, you will not have God’s strength to overcome.

Satan has armor that shields his captives from God’s saving and delivering power.
Satan’s armor is the exact opposite of God’s armor.
How to Put on the Lord’s Strength:
2. Commit yourself to truth in every area of life.
Ephesians 6:14a
“Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth…”

3. Commit yourself to right living before the Lord.
Ephesians 6:14b
“…and having put on the breastplate of righteousness…”
Righteous living gives you an unshakable confidence.
I John 3:21-22
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; 22 and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
How to Put on the Lord’s Strength:
4. Center your life around your God-given purpose.
Ephesians 6:15 CEV
Your desire to tell the good news about peace should be like shoes on your feet.

5. Navigate by faith rather than react to circumstances.
Ephesians 6:16
“…in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”
How to Put on the Lord’s Strength:
6. Maintain a peaceful and renewed mind.
Ephesians 6:17a
“And take the helmet of salvation…”
Romans 12:2a
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
Romans 8:7 NIV
For the mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God.

7. Know and use God’s Word.
