Translation: 1 A book of the genealogy of Jesus, the Anointed One, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham. 2 Abraham bore Isaac, moreover Isaac bore Jacob, moreover, Jacob bore Judah and his twelve sons. 3 Well, Judah bore Perez and Zera from Tamar. Moreover, Perez bore Hezron, and Hezron bore Aram. 4 Well, Aram bore Aminadab. And Aminadab bore Nahshon, whereas Nahshon bore Salmon. 5 And Salmon, via Rahab, (was the father) of Boaz. And Boaz, via Ruth, (was the father) of Obed. 6 And Obed was the father of Jesse, who was the father of David. Moreover, David bore Solomon from the wife of Uriah.
