COME, THOU LONG EXPECTED JESUS

[Verse 1]
Come, Thou long-expected Jesus,
Born to set Thy people free;
From our fears and sins release us;
Let us find our rest in Thee.
Israel’s strength and consolation,
Hope of all the earth Thou art;
Dear desire of ev’ry nation,
Joy of ev’ry longing heart.

[Verse 2]
Born Thy people to deliver,
Born a child, and yet a King,
Born to reign in us forever,
Now Thy gracious kingdom bring.
By Thine own eternal Spirit
Rule in all our hearts alone;
By Thine all-sufficient merit,
Raise us to Thy Glorious throne.

[Tag]
By Thine own eternal Spirit
Rule in all our hearts alone;
By Thine all-sufficient merit,
Raise us to Thy glorious throne.
Raise us to Thy glorious throne.

THIS IS JESUS

[Verse 1]
Night of wonder still and silent
Heaven’s brilliance from above
Light of glory pierced the darkness
Mercy pierced my heart with love.

[Chorus ]
This is Jesus, King of glory
Here to rescue from the fall
Son of God who comes to save us
Prince of peace and Lord of All

[Verse 2]
Oh, the myst’ry, who could fathom
God would leave His Holy throne
For a manger, for a sinner
For us all to be His own

[Bridge ]
Rejoice, He is with us
Rejoice, hope is here

[Verse 3]
For the hearts so prone to wander
For these feet so quick to flee
God is here and love is reaching
For the lost and least of these.

THOU DIDST LEAVE THY THRONE

[Verse 1]
Thou didst leave Thy throne and Thy kingly crown,
When Thou camest to earth for me;
But in Bethlehem’s home was there found no room
For Thy holy nativity.
O come to my heart, Lord Jesus,
There is room in my heart for Thee!

[Verse 2]
Heaven’s arches rang when the angels sang,
Proclaiming Thy royal degree;
But of lowly birth didst Thou come to earth,
And in great humility.
O come to my heart, Lord Jesus,
There is room in my heart for Thee!

[Verse 4]
Thou camest, O Lord, with the living word
That should set Thy people free;
But with mocking scorn and with crown of thorn
They bore Thee to Calvary.
O come to my heart, Lord Jesus,
There is room in my heart for Thee!

[Verse 5]
When the heavens shall ring and the angels sing
At Thy coming to victory,
Let Thy voice call me home, saying, “Yet there is room
There is room at My side for thee.”
My heart shall rejoice, Lord Jesus,
When Thou comest and callest for me!

HERE I AM TO WORSHIP

[Verse 1]
Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness,
Opened my eyes, let me see
Beauty that made this heart adore You,
Hope of a life spent with You.

[Chorus]
Here I am to worship, here I am to bow down,
Here I am to say that You’re my God.
You’re altogether lovely, altogether worthy,
Altogether wonderful to me.

[Verse 2]
King of all days, oh, so highly exalted,
Glorious in heaven above;
Humbly You came to the earth You created,
All for Love’s sake became poor.

[Bridge]
I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross.
I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross.

CONCLUSION

SPEAK, O LORD

[Verse 1]
Speak, O Lord, as we come to You,
To receive the food of Your Holy Word.
Take Your truth, plant it deep in us.
Shape and fashion us in Your likeness,
That the light of Christ might be seen today
In our acts of love and our deeds of faith.
Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us
All your purposes for Your glory.

[Verse 2]
Teach us, Lord full obedience,
Holy reverence, true humility.
Test our thoughts and our attitudes
In the radiance of Your purity.
Cause our faith to rise; cause our eyes to see
Your majestic love and authority.
Words of pow’r that can never fail.
Let the truth prevail over unbelief.

[Verse 3]
Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds.
Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us-
Truths unchanged from the dawn of time
That will echo down through eternity.
And by grace we’ll stand on Your promises,
And by faith we’ll walk as You walk with us.
Speak, O Lord, till Your church is built
And the earth is filled with Your glory.
