Vision- We are a church where all will know their image and identity is found in and through Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:18-22 MSG
That’s plain enough, isn’t it? You’re no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.
Romans 12:2 NLT
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
God is calling us to be participators in a new way of living and thinking.
You have a new identity
1 Peter 2:9 New Living Translation
9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
10 “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.”
God given identity through Jesus.
"You are chosen, you are part of royal priesthood, you are collectively a holy nation of people, you are a proclaimer of the good news of Jesus."
Making time for Spiritual interaction
Making time for renewal of the mind
Speak it over yourself.
I am chosen, I am part of a royal priesthood, I am part of God's Holy Nation, I am a proclaimer of the good news of Jesus, I have been fitted perfectly in the kingdom of God and Jesus is the cornerstone in whom we trust and believe.
Ephesians 3:20 The Passion Translation
20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.
Make time to cultivate image and identity that God has given you
Make time to display it to others in your words actions and deeds.
