Praise takes my attention off of myself and my problems
What can I find to praise Him for?
His Word!
His miracles!
His love for me!
His forgiveness!
His sustaining power!
II. STOP HUGGING PORCUPINES! – 4:6a
Anxiety drains the lifeblood from our souls.
III. Find your peace in Gratitude - 4:6b
RIGHT PRAYING
Prayers from the heart, not the mouth.
Pray asking for God’s help and direction
Pray with thanksgiving IN all circumstances, not FOR all circumstance
IV. God’s Peace anchors my soul - 4:7
Who God REALLY is:
All power
All authority
All strength
All wisdom
All love
Peace stands guard against all stress.
