8. What signs showed evidence the Holy Spirit fell on those who believed? What was their next step?
9. What simple steps taken by Peter or Cornelius would you consider taking to experience God’s power or His voice?
Spiritual Practice
Spiritual Practices help us experience the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives. They’re meant to be more than one-time actions, becoming a natural part of our lives.

Who do you spend time with who’s different from you? (examples: beliefs, background, stage in life, race, etc.). Ask God to show you who He wants you to get to know better and what He wants you to share with them.
Memory Verse
For Christ Himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in His own body on the cross, He broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.
~ Ephesians 2:14 (NLT)
Prepare for Next Sunday
Sunday, November 29, we’ll conclude the series titled Church Empowered. To prepare, read Acts 12:1-25.

Acts of the Apostles 12:1-25
