Guy’s Camp Out
Guys and sons (school-aged boys and older are suggested) are invited to an overnight tent camping trip on a primitive camping area in Hamilton on Friday, September 21. The purpose is to disconnect briefly from everyday life, connect with other men who love Jesus and experience His presence through His wonderful creation. Activities include a night hike, campfire worship, s'mores, brief devotional, grunting, as well as other activities too macho for the church bulletin. Child Dedication
On Sunday, September 23, we will be having a baby/child dedication during both of our services (9:45am or 11:15am). Kids Night Out
The kids are back in school and life was busy with kids all summer long. You need a date night with your spouse! We can help with a Kids Night Out on Friday, September 28. The cost is $10 for your first child and $5 for each additional sibling. We’ll provide child care, pizza, crafts, games, movie and tons of fun.

Serve City
The River Church is scheduled to help at Serve City the fourth Saturday of every month. The next scheduled serving date is Saturday, September 22, from 9:45am-12:00pm. If you are interested in serving, all you need to do is arrive at 9:45am at Serve City and you will be shown how you can help. Serve City is a food pantry that reaches out to needy families in our area. They are located at 622 East Avenue, Hamilton. Get Connected in a Community Group!

Can You Help?
We are looking for someone who would be willing to help us with our audio & video podcasts. The time commitment for this volunteer role would be a minimum of 4 hours on a Sunday. Angels Among Us
There are times in life when we can be in a situation where a meal would be a blessing, such as after giving birth or when dealing with a medical situation. Through our Angels Among Us ministry, you can help people within our church by bringing them a meal. To join, send an email to info@HitTheRiver.com letting us know you’d like to be part of this ministry. When a need arises, you will receive an email asking if you can sign up to bring a meal. If you are in a situation where you could be blessed by a meal, please email us at info@HitTheRiver.com.
Prayernet
You have a direct impact on the lives of others through prayer. By joining the prayernet you will be able to help others who are in need that may or may not have someone in their life to pray for them.
When you join the prayernet, you will receive emails with requests for prayer. At this time we average two requests per week. All you need to do is pray for that person in your own personal way. “And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for.” 1 John 5:15.
