Sermon Title: The End or the Beginning?
REVELATION 22:1-11
22:1 And he showed me a river of living water, shining as crystal, coming forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of her wide street and on this side and that side of the river, (was) a Tree of Life making twelve fruits, each producing its fruit according to a month, and the leaves of the tree for the healing of the nations. 3 And every unclean thing is still not there. And the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in her, and his servants will worship him 4 and they will see his face, and his name upon their foreheads. 5 And there will still not be night and they will not have a need for light of a lamp and light of the sun, because the Lord God will shine upon them, and they will reign into the ages of ages. 6 And he said to me, “These words (are) faithful and true, and the Lord, God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his messenger to show his servants that which must occur with quickness. 7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed (is) the one keeping the words of the prophecies of this book.”
8 And I, John, (am) the one hearing and seeing these things. And whenever I heard and saw, I fell to bow before the feet of the messenger showing me these things. 9 And he said to me, “Look! Am I not a fellow-servant of you and your siblings, of the prophets and of the ones keeping the words of this book? (Yes!) Bow down to God!” 10 And he said to me: “Shall you not seal the words of the prophecy of this book? (Yes!) For the time is near. 11 The one doing injustice, let him be unjust still and the one defiling himself, let him defile himself still, and the one doing justice, let him make justice still, and the one (being) holy, let him be holy still.”
