LIVING HOPE

[Verse 1]
How great the chasm that lay between us. How high the mountain I could not climb.
In desperation I turned to heaven, and spoke Your name into the night.

Then through the darkness, Your loving-kindness tore through the shadows of my soul.
The work is finished, the end is written. Jesus Christ, my living hope.

[Verse 2]
Who could imagine so great a mercy? What heart could fathom such boundless grace?
The God of ages stepped down from glory to wear my sin and bear my shame.
The cross has spoken, “I am forgiven.” The King of kings calls me His own.
Beautiful Savior, I’m Yours forever. Jesus Christ, my living hope.

[Chorus]
Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free!
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me!
You have broken every chain, there’s salvation in Your name.
Jesus Christ, my living hope!

[Chorus]
Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free!
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me!
You have broken every chain, there’s salvation in Your name.
Jesus Christ, my living hope!

[Verse 3]
Then came the morning that sealed the promise, Your buried body began to breathe.
Out of the silence, the roaring Lion, declared the grave has no claim on me.
Then came the morning that sealed the promise, Your buried body began to breath.
Out of the silence, the roaring Lion, declared the grave has no claim on me.
Jesus, Your is the victory!

Jesus Christ, my living hope!
God, You are my living hope!

‘TIS SO SWEET TO TRUST IN JESUS

[Verse 1]
‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to take Him at His word;
Just to rest upon His promise, Just to know, “Thus saith the Lord.”

[Chorus]
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er!
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust Him more!

[Verse 2]
O how sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me ‘Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

[Verse 3]
Yes, ‘tis sweet to trust in Jesus, Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking Life and rest, and joy and peace.

[Verse 4]
I’m so glad I learned to trust Him, Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that He is with me, Will be with me to the end.

I WILL WAIT FOR YOU (PSALM 130)

[Verse 1 ]
Out of the depth I cry to You, in darkest places I will call.
Incline Your ear to me anew, and hear my cry for mercy, Lord.

[Verse 2]
Were You to count my sinful ways, how could I come before Your throne?
Yet full forgiveness meets my gaze, I stand redeemed by grace alone.

[Chorus ]
I will wait for You, I will wait for You, on Your word I will rely.
I will wait for You, surely wait for You, till my soul is satisfied.

[Verse 3]
So, put Your hope in God alone. Take courage in His power to save,
Completely and forever won by Christ’s emerging from the grave.

[Chorus ]
I will wait for You, I will wait for You, on Your word I will rely.
I will wait for You, surely wait for You, till my soul is satisfied.

[Verse 4]
Now He has come to make a way, and God Himself has paid the price,
That all who trust in Him today, find healing in His sacrifice;
That all who trust in Him today, find healing in His sacrifice.

[Chorus 2]
I will wait for You, I will wait for You, through the storm and through the night.
I will wait for You, surely wait for You, for Your love is my delight.

I will wait for You, I will wait for You, through the storm and through the night.
I will wait for You, surely wait for You, for Your love is my delight.

I will wait for You, I will wait for You, on Your word I will rely.
I will wait for You, surely wait for You, till my soul is satisfied.

HOW HE LOVES

[Verse 1]
He is jealous for me, loves like a hurricane; I am a tree
Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realize just how beautiful You are and how great Your affections are for me.

[Channel]
And oh, how He loves us so.
Oh, how He loves us, how He loves us so.

[Chorus]
Yeah, He loves us. Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us, oh, how He loves.

[Verse 2]
And we are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes.
If His grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.
And heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss,
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest.
I don’t have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way

[Chorus]
That He loves us. Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us, oh, how He loves.

Yeah, He loves us. Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us, oh, how He loves.

Yeah, He loves us. Oh, how He loves us,
Oh, how He loves us, oh, how He loves.

TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS

[Verse 1]
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior;
And life more abundant and free!

[Chorus]
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.

[Verse 2]
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion-
For more than conqu’rors we are!

[Verse 3]
His word shall not fail you- He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well.
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
