Power is normal in the Kingdom of God. If you have a weak view of Christianity or a powerless view of God your theology is wrong. God is powerful. We are not powerless.
The reason many people feel helpless and hopeless is because they don’t know their purpose and they feel powerless to change things.
Citizens of the Kingdom of God are not powerless. The King of the Kingdom is the God of all power. He is all powerful. God is Omniscient. Omnipresent. Omnipotent.
HOW DO WE ACCESS THIS POWER?
The Holy Spirit is our source of Kingdom Power
What do we need Kingdom power for?
1. KINGDOM POWER FOR SPIRITUAL WARFARE
There are 2 Kingdom’s at war - Kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of light Every war is about territory. The spiritual war we are in is no different.
You release Kingdom power in spiritual warfare through prayer. Through prayer we have the authority to bind and loose
2. KINGDOM POWER FOR THE MIRACULOUS
God desires that the miraculous be a part of your every day life. The kingdom of God is demonstrated by power.
Jesus went around undoing the works of the devil. Satan oppressed...Jesus came to free. He healed the sick, the broken hearted, cast demons out...he undid the works of the devil.
Everyone in the Kingdom of God has the power of the Kingdom for the miraculous inside of them. We simply release it through laying on of hands, speaking the word of God in faith.
You and I need to exercise the Kingdom Power we have been given.
3. KINGDOM POWER TO OVERCOME
The Christian life was meant to be an overcoming life! Too many people live oppressed and depressed because they lack the power of God in their lives.
Living a godly life in an ungodly world is possible...through the Power of the Holy Spirit.
You can overcome! Destructive habits. Bad thoughts. Lust. Gossip. Every form of immorality is conquered through the power of the Holy Spirit working in you.
A powerless world needs to see a church demonstrating the power of the Kingdom of God with their lives.
