CONVERSATION STARTERS
Conversation Starters help us dig deeper, connecting Sunday’s sermons with our Monday lives. These prompts have been designed to help Community Groups grow in their relationship with God, with one another, and with their neighbors. Please know that these questions are meant to be a resource to you. You do not have to follow them verbatim or get through them all. We trust you to know your group and to ask the questions based on your group needs.
1) What stood out to you from the sermon?
2) Why do you think accusation is such a central part of Satan’s plan to destroy the Christian life? How have you seen accusations hinder your own prayer or relationship to God?
3) How should reflecting on the victory of Christ over the powers of this world give you confidence to live with courage and humility in these tense times?
4) How might the church better embody this good news to the world? What are one or two key things the church could do right now to more effectively bear witness to the victory of Christ?
PRAYER
Take time to pray against any spirit of accusation you feel has marked your personal walk with Christ. Pray with one another, that the Spirit would help you all embrace the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3)
