Sermon Title: When No Means Yes
Sermon Verses: Rev 21:1-8
1 And I saw a new sky and new land. For the first sky and the first land passed by and the sea was no longer. 2 And I saw the holy city, a new Jerusalem, coming down from the sky from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the tent of God (will be) with the people, and he will tent with them, and they will be his people, and he himself with them will be [their God], 4 and he will wipe away ever tear from their eyes, and neither will there still be death nor mourning nor will there still be pain, because the first things have passed by.”
5 And I saw the one sitting upon the throne: “Behold, I am making every new thing.” And he said, “Write this: ‘These words are faithful and true.’” 6 And he said to me, “It has already occurred. I myself [am] the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last. I myself will give to drink from the springs of living waters without cost. 7 The one overcoming will inherit these things and I will be his God and he himself will be my son. 8 Moreover, to the cowards and non-allegiant, both the ones of abomination and murderers, both the sexually immoral and witchcrafters, both the idolaters and those lying, their part (will be) in the lake, the one burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Word of the Week: Rut-busting: The act of busting out of a rut, that is, out of a place that makes us feel trapped and incapable of moving forward.
