Welcome to Agincourt Church this morning! We're so glad you have joined us today.

See below for a short article from Pastor Jonathan, teaching notes and announcements.
Welcome to ‘RESET’, a pre-summer series designed to help you hit the ‘RESET’ button!

There comes a moment in everyone’s life where they have to hit the ‘RESET’ button. Life has a way of getting out-of-control and sliding us into places where we nd ourselves threadbare, spent and broken! Fortunately, God knew that humans, while made in God’s image, had this tendency [because of our brokenness] to run at paces and occupy spaces that were harmful to us and those around us. Moved with compassion for His creation, God provided an opportunity to hit the ‘RESET’ button in many areas of our lives:

- Our boundaries
- Our margin
- Our blame game
- Our route or direction

As a spiritual community let’s lean in and allow God’s Spirit to lead us in a series that can free and restore us so that we can focus on KNOWING GOD, LOVING PEOPLE and IMPACTING OUR CITY together!

Jonathan Smith
Lead Pastor
God says: GO! We say: NO.
We say: SO?! God says: GROW….
God says: NO. We say OH??? (or UH???)
“So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.“

~ Exodus 3:10
Failure is not falling down. Failure is falling down and not getting up again.
2. We say: SO?! God says: GROW….
“Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.”
So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook. Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land....“‘Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.’…:…She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah.“

~ 1 Kings 17:2-7, 9 ,15-16
The Destination, not the road conditions, determines whether or not we are going in the right Direction.
3.God says: NO. We say OH??? (or UH???)
“Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us go back and visit the believers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing.“

~ Acts 15:36
“When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. 8 So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.“

~ Acts 16: 7-10
“On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there. One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message. When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.“

~ Acts16:13-15
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”
WHERE YOU END UP IN LIFE IS NOT DETERMINED BY WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU.
BUT ON HOW YOU RESPOND TO WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU
WOAH! Look how God rerouted me when I reset my trust in Him.
