Be-Attitudes: Blessed are those Who Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness, Pastor Chris Sommer
I am hungry most of the time… but I am not always hungry for the things for which I should be hungering. For example, my wife seems to hunger for kale salads, nuts, yogurt and water. I hunger for Sno Caps, dark chocolate brownies, nachos with queso dip, and cherry Pepsi from QT. So my question for you today is, “What are you hungering and thirsting for?” And then a follow up question is, “How do you plan to have those desires satisfied?” So let’s talk about it… and let me apologize in advance if there is a chocolate stain on this worship folder.

We believe God wants to position Faith to be a generous body of believers able to invest in missional ministry where we live, work, play and beyond; wherever God leads us to bless those who need the Gospel. Faith members and regular attenders are on a journey to discover what it means to move from being blessed to blessing others. We give with gratitude in response to God’s grace and sacrificial love in Jesus, who already has met our deepest needs. He works through the sacrifice and generosity of His people to meet the needs of others and to fuel the mission of His church to make disciples.
