Return to Limited Sunday School - October 11th

At the beginning of this school year, it was unknown how students being back in the classroom would affect the number of new COVID-19 cases here in Arkansas. While the number of new cases continues to rise throughout the state, the rate of increase is much lower than they had predicted.

For this reason, we will return to a limited Sunday School schedule beginning October 11th. This limited schedule will include both youth and adult classes, but will not include children’s Sunday School at this time. But do not worry, we will continue to have Kidz Time during the at 10:30 during 2nd Worship Service.

Here are the times, locations and teachers for the Sunday School classes that will begin October 11.

First Service - 9:00 am
Adult Class—Russell Jones—Fellowship Hall
Adult Ladies’ Class—Karen Kreeger—Education Building—1st Floor

Second Service - 10:30 am
Adult Class—Ron Simpson—Fellowship Hall
6th-12th Grade—Rick Johnson—Education Building—2nd Floor—Youth Room

JESUS MESSIAH

[Verse 1]
He became sin who knew no sin,
That we might become His righteousness.
He humbled Himself and carried the cross;
Love so amazing, love so amazing.

[Chorus]
Jesus, Messiah, name above all names,
Blessed Redeemer, Emmanuel.
The rescue for sinners, the ransom from heaven,
Jesus, Messiah, Lord of all.

[Verse 2]
His body, the bread, His blood, the wine,
Broken and poured out all for love.
The whole earth trembled and the veil was torn,
Love so amazing, love so amazing.

[Chorus]
Jesus, Messiah, name above all names,
Blessed Redeemer, Emmanuel.
The rescue for sinners, the ransom from heaven,
Jesus, Messiah, Lord of all.

[Bridge]
All our hope is in You. All our hope is in You.
All the glory to You, God, the Light of the world.

[Chorus]
Jesus, Messiah, name above all names,
Blessed Redeemer, Emmanuel.
The rescue for sinners, the ransom from heaven,
Jesus, Messiah, Lord of all.
Jesus Messiah, Lord of all,
The Lord of all.

IN CHRIST ALONE with THE SOLID ROCK

[Verse 1]
In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song;
This Cornerstone, this solid ground, Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace, When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
My comforter, my All in All, Here in the love of Christ I stand.

[Verse 2]
In Christ alone! Who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless babe!
This gift of love and righteousness, Scorned by the ones He came to save:
Till on that cross as Jesus died, The wrath of God was satisfied,
For ev’ry sin on Him was laid; Here in the death of Christ I live.

[Verse 3]
There in the ground, His body lay, Light of the world by darkness slain:
Then bursting forth in glorious day Up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory, Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me,
For I am His and He is mine, Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

[Bridge]
On Christ the solid Rock, I stand. All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
On Christ the solid Rock, I stand. All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

[Verse 4]
No guilt in life, no fear in death, This is the pow’r of Christ in me;
From life’s first cry to final breath. Jesus commands my destiny.
No pow’r of hell, no scheme of man, can ever pluck me from His hand;
Till He returns or calls me home, here in the pow’r of Christ I’ll stand.

ALL I HAVE IS CHRIST

[Chorus]
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life.

[Verse 1]
I once was lost in darkest night, yet thought I knew the way;
The sin that promised joy and life had led me to the grave.
I had no hope that You would own a rebel to Your will,
And if You had not loved me first, I would refuse You still.

[Verse 2]
But as I ran my hellbound race indiff’rent to the cost,
You looked upon my helpless state and led me to the cross;
And I beheld God’s love displayed, You suffered in my place,
You bore the wrath reserved for me, now all I know is grace.

[Chorus]
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life.
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life.

[Verse 3]
Now Lord I would be Yours alone and live so all might see;
The strength to follow Your commands could never come from me.
O Father, use my ransomed life in any way You choose.
And let my song forever be, “My only boast is You!”

[Chorus]
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life.
Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life.

Halleujah! All I have is Christ.
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life.

SPEAK, O LORD

[Verse 1]
Speak, O Lord, as we come to You,
To receive the food of Your Holy Word.
Take Your truth, plant it deep in us.
Shape and fashion us in Your likeness,
That the light of Christ might be seen today
In our acts of love and our deeds of faith.
Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us
All Your purposes for Your glory.

[Verse 2]
Teach us, Lord, full obedience,
Holy reverence, true humility.
Test our thoughts and our attitudes
In the radiance of Your purity.
Cause our faith to rise; cause our eyes to see
Your majestic love and authority.
Words of pow’r that can never fail.
Let their truth prevail over unbelief.

[Verse 3]
Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds.
Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us-
Truths unchanged from the dawn of time
That will echo down through eternity.
And by grace we’ll stand on Your promises,
And by faith we’ll walk as You walk with us.
Speak, O Lord, till Your church is built
And the earth is filled with Your glory.
