First Baptist Church, South Haven
Worship Gathering: 10/04/2020
Thank you for joining us for worship this morning! We are so glad you’re here today. Whether you are joining us in-person, online, as a vacationer, or as someone who is looking for a church home, we hope that you enjoy our gathering time and sense God’s presence. To help prevent the spread of germs, if you need to go in the building, please wear a mask. While our place of worship fluctuates depending on the weather and Covid rules, we are grateful to know that the Body of Christ can worship anytime, anywhere. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to adapt to these challenging times. As a reminder If you have a need for assistance during this time (grocery delivery, meals, etc.), please do not hesitate to call/text Kim Collins on her cell phone. We have church members ready and willing to help.

Oktoberfest Offering: 11/1
During our morning worship service, we will have an opportunity to present a monetary gift to God in thanksgiving for His abundant blessings and in joyful celebration of being a church who is committed to being what God wants us to be. We will receive an extremely important Oktoberfest Offering which will be used solely for payment of our building mortgage (annually about $36,000.00). Besides celebrating God’s goodness, our Oktoberfest Celebration will also be a time when we can recommit ourselves to fulfilling God’s calling “To Know Him and Make Him Known” and to the goal of living out our faith together.
While this year has been off-kilter in so many ways, we are looking forward to what 2021 will bring as well as how God will use our building to impact the lives of others in our community. If you are unable to join us for the service, we hope you’ll consider either mailing or making an online contribution ahead of time. While the year 2020 seems to have been a standstill in many aspects, our church bills have continued to need to be paid and this offering is vital to our ability to pay the mortgage. We thank you for prayerfully considering how you can contribute.
[Due to the pandemic, we will forego our potluck this year, but hopefully will be able to hold one following our annual meeting in January.]
