Welcome to ‘RESET’, a pre-summer series designed to help you hit the ‘RESET’ button!

There comes a moment in everyone’s life where they have to hit the ‘RESET’ button. Life has a way of getting out-of-control and sliding us into places where we nd ourselves threadbare, spent and broken! Fortunately, God knew that humans, while made in God’s image, had this tendency [because of our brokenness] to run at paces and occupy spaces that were harmful to us and those around us. Moved with compassion for His creation, God provided an opportunity to hit the ‘RESET’ button in many areas of our lives:

As a spiritual community let’s lean in and allow God’s Spirit to lead us in a series that can free and restore us so that we can focus on KNOWING GOD, LOVING PEOPLE and IMPACTING OUR CITY together!

What is the cost of worshipping the FALSE GOD of busyness?

1. Without MARGIN - our STRESS level begins to grow

2. Without MARGIN - You will get a bad case of TUNNEL vision

3. Without MARGIN - Your RELATIONSHIPS begin to suffer

“Some time after this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias), and a great CROWD of people followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick.”

~ John 6:1-2

Jesus never sought the CROWD but the CROWDS sought Jesus.

“Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”

~ John 6:9

Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down. Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.”

~ John 6:10-11

PLENTY of space to work

PLENTY of space for a miracle to happen

“as much as they wanted”

“they all had enough to eat”

“they filled 12 baskets with the pieces left over”

1. LIMITED TIME - “Teach us to number our days…” - Psalm 90:12

2. ENOUGH TIME - “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” - Psalm 90:12

WHAT is most important and WHO is most important?

JESUS put the FATHER before PEOPLE - spiritual

JESUS put His BESTIES before His WORK - relational

JESUS put His HEALTH before the CROWD - physical

JESUS put His MIND/EMOTIONS before His SUCCESS - ambition
