Pastor Joseph Salajan's Bio
Pastor Joe was born in the little town of Crasna (Romania). Ever since he was a child, he has been fascinated by the unique connection between pastors and their special book, the Bible. When at the age of 7 he received his first little Bible from a brave pastor who was able to procure it for him in spite of the interdictions of the communist regime, he felt special and decided one day he would become a pastor.
After serving as a Pastor for 8 years in Romania, in 2013 he immigrated to the USA. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of Plantation Seventh-day Adventist Church. Along with his wonderful wife Anda and their gorgeous daughter Alessandra, he enjoys proclaiming God’s grace and ministering to his fellows.
Pastor Joe is currently enrolled in a doctoral Program (DMin in Preaching) with Andrews University. His hobbies are languages, music, and poetry.

We usually get angry because of our miserable state of mind and heart… and we rage over petty things that we perceive as great acts of injustice. Our wrath often leads to even greater injustice…
The challenge is this: we read this passage about the wrath of the Lamb… and we tend to project our wrath on Him, that is, we define His wrath with the definition of our wrath…That’s not what divine wrath is!

He Is Worthy
Jesus, the Lamb was worthy to take the scroll and open it. He took the scroll and He became the King of Planet Earth. Actually, He is a King already, but not yet! He is a King dejure (legally), but not de facto (factually).

The wrath of the Lamb is a rightful indignation… It is triggered by the cruel injustice done to the martyrs… it is the reaction of justice to the injustice the innocents suffer. Did you know that today the persecution against the followers of the Lamb is worse than ever? Would it be just to watch forever like this… with a smile the unfolding of injustice?
Chapter 7 shows that there are such people that will be able to stand. The sealing of God’s people is a key teaching of the Bible. According to the Bible, the Holy Spirit is the one that seals those who believe in Jesus!
This sealing means possession(George belongs to God) and protection (not even death candestroyGeorge, because there is resurrection for the martyrs)! The sealing separates those who will be able to stand from those who will not be able to stand…

John hears the number of those who are sealed: 144000. The children of Israel (God’s overcomer…) are described as an army, lined up for battle… 12x12 military units… (the 1000 was a military unit in ancient Israel…)
After that John looks… and sees them after the battle…

These are those that are able to stand… It is because of the Lamb that they are saved! Salvation belongs to Him… It’s not my efforts and then Him completing what I can’t… The Warranty of Royalty is His Loyalty!
Before doing justice, He the just took the injustice… Salvation is not just!
This is where Revelation 3:21 is fulfilled: "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

If you would like to have an announcement put into the Church Newsletter, it should be 50 words or less and must be emailed to newsletter@plantationsda.org by 5:00 PM on Tuesday.
