The Youth Sunday Classes are stopping for awhile. The youth are asked to attend and help in regular service. They can volunteer to participate in the following areas: Ushering, media, sound, worship, prayer and/or scripture reading. Please see Ryan or Pastor Brian for details.
Parents, please keep your teens in the service. Don’t allow them to be a distraction to the other children’s classes taking place.
Youth Group Chill’s Fundraiser will be this Thursday, the 26th. You must have a flyer in order for our youth to receive a donation. They can be found in the foyer, or www.facebook.com/KCCYother/events
Today’s Youth Games at the Park (G.R.I.S.S) is a SPECIAL SERVICE EVENT – Instead of our usual get-together at the park, we will be helping Randy Hack move. Meet at the church at 12:30 pm this afternoon. Pizza may be involved!
KCC Secret Sisters – Don’t forget the “revealing party” at the Henderson’s home, 4366 Box J Drive this Saturday, May 28th at 2:00 pm. Bring veggies, fruit or a dessert to share, along with something to give your Secret Sister. If you have questions or need directions, call Shirley at (928) 692-6778. If you can’t make the party, let Shirley know for other arrangements.
Meet & Greet Lunch will be on June 5th, after service. It will be a time to meet with Pastor Brian and Tami in the Fellowship Hall for those who are new or visiting KCC for the first time. This is a great time for you to say hello and learn more about KCC. Lunch is provided.
KCC Church Softball League will be playing this Tues., May 24th, starting at 8:20 pm. on field 6. Come on out for a good time and a good evening!

The Return to Bethel
Genesis 35
Each one of us has a Bethel that God periodically calls us back to.
Our Bethel is where we met Jesus for the first time and responded to his call.
Why God calls us back to Bethel
• Complacent and/or too comfortable.
• Change in attitude.
• Sidetracked.
• Forgotten promise.
Preparing to return to Bethel
• Understand there are distractions. – vs 2
• Understand there is pride. – vs 2
• Understand God will clear the way. – vs. 5
While at Bethel
• Avoid being distracted. – vs. 8
• Expect God to remind you of your new name; Christian. – vs. 10
• Expect God to encourage you with his promise. – vs. 11
• Expect God to encourage you with his blessing. – vs. 11
After Bethel
• Expect life to go unchanged. – vs. 16-22
• Or even seem more harsh. – vs. 22
• But, expect to experience a new sense of joy. – vs. 18
• And expect to be encouraged to continue fulfilling your promise (total commitment to Jesus). – vs. 27
Finding the way back to Bethel
• Prepare yourself.
• Find a quiet moment and avoid distractions.
• Remember the experience of the first time you met Jesus and responded to him.
• The wonderful thing, it can be done anytime, anywhere.
Are you in need of a return to Bethel?
