Michelangelo, the renaissance sculptor/artist, not the Ninja Turtle, approached his task uniquely. Instead of creating, he looked at a slab of marble as work of restoration, taking away everything that was hiding or masking the finished product. His work remains as exemplary throughout history.

Restoration matters because:
